Receptionist/Administrator - Coding Team

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.

CGH Partnership are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator for 20 hours per week.

Role Responsibility

Overview of roles and responsibilities: 

  • Responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team. 
  • Managing appointment requests and signposting patients to our range of services. 
  • Maintaining patient records and maintaining patient confidentiality. 
  • Utilising other information systems to support efficient workflow processes. 
  • Emailing, scanning and coding clinical correspondence. 
  • Deal with medical report requests (PMA, Social Security, Housing and Disability Reports, Army, Firearms, Private Medicals) and invoices.
  • Produce iGPR medical reports.
  • Summarise medical records and record directly onto the GP clinical system.
  • Processing prescription requests in a timely manner. 
  • Typing and processing referral requests through e-Referral system.
  • Supporting patient health promotion recall campaigns. 
  • Encouraging uptake of our digital tools to support patient self-care. 
  • Taking part in all mandatory training, annual appraisal and continued education, learning and development. 

The Ideal Candidate

 

Interested? What you will need to be considered:

  • Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
  • Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential.
  • Experience of iGPR medical software preferable.
  • Experience of summarising medical records preferable.
  • Experience of e-Referral system preferable
